The production of CBG and CBD isolate

When manufacturing CBD products, quality should always come first. Because working with cannabinoids, extra care should be taken to ensure that the maximum permissible amount of THC is not exceeded. We understand that and have even developed CBG and CBD isolates that contain 0% THC.

Moreover, we also use a better and expensive production process. This means that we extract using the sub-critical method and not the super-critical method like many other manufacturers. The latter means that high pressure and high temperatures are used for extraction. However, important properties of the plant are affected in the process, which is why we only use the subcritical method. This method uses alcohol to extract the CBD and CBG isolates from the plant. This does not require high temperatures, which is more gentle for the plant and contributes to a higher quality of the isolate.

The difference between CBG and CBD isolates

As previously mentioned, we offer both CBG and CBD isolates. Although they are similar in origin, there are some important differences. While CBD isolate is becoming more well-known, CBG isolate is still new to many people. Therefore, we will explain the most important differences to you.

The abbreviation CBG means cannabigerol. CBG can be seen as kind of a building block or precursor to other active cannabinoids such as THC or CBD. CBD is thus created from the CBG. This means that the more CBD there is in the plant, the less CBG is left. Combining pure CBG with CBD increases overall effectiveness.

How are the CBG and CBD isolates used?

Your customers can use the CBG and CBD isolate to create their own CBD-containing products. You can add it to food, but you can also use it to create your own CBD oil, CBG oil or even CBD creams and ointments.
